• Type your name into the “Player” area at the top-left of the Options screen.
• Choose a difficulty level. The higher the level, the faster you and all your enemies travel. The easiest level, “Child”, allows you to play an untimed game, in which you can take as long as you like to finish a level but receive no time bonus points.
• Choose a starting level from the list under your name. You can choose any level up to and including the lowest level that you haven't yet completed. Next to each level’s name is the highest score you’ve ever achieved on that level. If you have never completed the level, no score appears.
• Click “Play”.
